Who We Are
Gayways is one of the London’s leading specialist retailers of garden machinery, hand and power tools and outdoor leisure items. Based in North West London, Gayways is a long established Authorised Dealer for leading brands such as Stihl, Viking, John Deere, Honda, Weibang, Hayter, Echo and many more. As an authorised dealer we hold a large stock inventory, offer a complete ‘Service Backup’, and have fully trained product professionals who can advise on the right product to meet your needs. Established in 1975, Gayways has a long standing reputation for quality and service.
With the new, and a much anticipated launch of Gaywaysltd.co.uk in late 2009, we now have an established online service that delivers throughout the London area. As a Service Agent mainly, with thousands of customers on our database, we feel the loyalty through out the years, with customers returning to us because of the first class service we provide. We only cater for the domestic and commercial market within the London area. We don’t want to sell a product online, or in our premises, without the customer knowing were to go for back-up service, either it be warranty, or parts. Customers that buy from us know they can return to us if they have any problems with their machines or they simply want to get their machine(s) serviced. We offer the full package, not just shifting boxes! Buying from us, you will get up to 50% off your first service; the turn-around on getting back your machine is quicker. Our database allows us to track individual customers, to what they bought, when the bought, and what services were applied to their machine, so we know exactly what to do with your machine, when you book it in.

We have enough quality products on site, and we are constantly adding new lines to broaden our ranges.
Secondly, and no less importantly, we focus on customer service. This means more than getting the basics right; we want to ensure that you are getting the right product and that you will keep coming back to us for your home and garden requirements. Existing customers that do buy from us, know they are not just buying a machine in a box, they are buying into a service. Buying a piece of top quality machinery, you’de expect it to operate for many years, Gayways offers all its customer the best back-up service possible. Existing customers can take advantage of our discounted Service deals, and the turn-around for service is far quicker than any other service.
Our web site was upgraded in 2009 to offer an enhanced online shopping experience, with improved browsing functionality and product selection features. Our buying guides and product comparisons have been modified to allow you to learn more about our products and to compare similar products . Out of shop hours we strive to answer your email queries within 12 hours so do email us even if it's late at night! We can also process your purchase over the telephone as an alternative to placing your order online.
We strive to deliver your product as quickly and cost effectively as possible, bearing in mind that many of our products are fragile. We can offer next day delivery on many items. If we are out of stock, we can obtain most of our products at short notice and will advise you immediately of estimated delivery date including the option to cancel if this does not meet your requirements. Our Premises
We believe that the combination of internet shop and physical retail store gives us an advantage in being able to understand and respond to your needs. Our retail shop, and warehouse operates out showroom on Watford Road in Harrow, Middlesex. We have probably the largest selection of garden machinery and hand and power tools in the London area. Recently refurbished and extended, we have enlarged our range of machinery, and tools items to give a broader home and garden selection.
We also have an after sales service facility at the premises. This 3,000sqm site with fully equipped workshops, spare parts area and reception allows us to test and appraise products and hold open days.
Our History
Gayways is a long established business, originally formed in 1975 as a horticultural and agricultural machinery dealer. Gayways has expanded considerably during the course of its history, most recently adding an extended range of DIY tools and outdoor safety clothing departments. In addition to the premises and online store, we also have a new selection for Tree Surgeons, with Safety Harnesses, Ropes, Karabiners, and top quality Silky range saws www.gaywaysltd.co.uk. Gayways will always be known for the quality of its products and its efficient and friendly service.
